Hi there, I'm Nancy

Do you often make decisions that you later regret, and you're not sure why you made the particular decision in the first place? Do you often feel emotions that don't make sense to you, and you don't know what to do with the feelings? Do you find it hard to understand why your life isn't the way you want it to be, or why you aren't the person you would like to be? For 20 years I've been helping people understand these kinds of things about themselves. I do this by establishing a relationship with you where you can feel comfortable collaborating in exploring who you are, what you think and what you feel. Understanding what you are thinking and feeling, and understanding what gets in the way of being aware of what you are thinking and feeling can help you understand yourself better. Understanding yourself better can lead you to make decisions that are more constructive and your behavior less baffling to yourself and other people. This approach is typically called "depth" psychology and can take longer than other therapies that have a short-term focus of feeling better. However, depth psychotherapy often provides a longer-lasting relief and can help you make changes in coping with the chronic issues you may face.
