Hi there, I'm Nana!

My name is Nana Bamfo, and I have experience working with children, families, individuals, and a diversity of people. While most of my experience has been in human service, I understand how to advocate for individuals and families and help them towards self-reliance. Along with my professional experience, my ability to be open-minded and uphold appropriate boundaries demonstrates my combination of professional and personal qualities. I have become more adept at interacting with clients from various backgrounds and have developed a passion for helping clientele to have access to community service and resources. Finally, I have realized that one size does not fit all, and I use different modalities with my clients. However, the modalities that I love to use mostly in the therapeutic setting are cognitive behavior therapy, how thoughts affect emotions and behavior; psychodynamic whatever that happens to us from childhood affects our adulthood connecting the dots, solution focus, finding a solution to our problems and making sense of it. I am dedicated to fostering a safe environment and working with each individual to develop customized plans to improve their quality of life.
