Welcome, my name is Juliana Veksler, LMFT, Psy.D. My goal as a therapist is to help you uncover your true potential and help you find ways to be your best self. My approach to therapy focuses on habit formation, growth mindset, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My sessions with clients are also short-term and solution-focused. While we can't change difficult situations, we can change the way we approach them.
My primary theoretical approach is based on cognitive behavioral therapy, furthermore, the interrelated relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. My approach includes elements of a growth mindset and habit formation. My approach is catered to the needs of each individual because every situation is unique.
My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and help you find ways to be your best self. My clients come to therapy because they want to work on establishing and maintaining healthy life-changing habits.
My communication style
My clients have told me that I create a safe and comfortable environment because I am genuinely warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental. Clients have also expressed that I have a great sense of humor.
