Hi there, I'm Adam!

Therapy is most effective when there is a good connection between client and therapist and when both parties actively participate. I’m an integrative therapist and offer expertise in several evidence-based modalities to help you meet your mental health goals, reduce symptoms, increase positive strengths and skills, or combine both. We all have the innate capacity to heal and grow as a person, find more satisfaction in relationships, let go of old wounds, and build a more resilient, happier life for ourselves and those around us. How we get there will depend on your unique situation and what you’re willing to do between sessions. I promise you that I will use every scientifically-proven modality and tool I am trained to help you achieve greater well-being and life satisfaction. My primary theoretical orientation is Humanistic/Person-Centered psychology. If we work together, I’ll help you connect with your innate wisdom and healing capacity through my use of empathic reflection and exploration techniques. Effective therapy starts with a trusting relationship, sometimes called the therapeutic alliance. After establishing this in the first session, we will collaborate to choose which evidence-based interventions to include in your treatment plan. In addition to my basis in Humanistic psychology, I offer expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, Exposure/Response Prevention, and other modalities, depending on your unique needs.
