My approach
Some common approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Gestalt and Solution Focused Therapy. However, the best approach for your needs will be decided collaboratively.
My focus
Adolescent self harm, bullying and OCD. Adult OCD, anxiety, depression, and parents separated from their children. Parenting skills and knowledge using a Social Learning Theory approach.
My communication style
Working with me should feel natural and comfortable. The environment should give you the comfort and support to acknowledge and address your needs and concerns. You may meet my cat as he likes to make a video appearance from time to time.
My goals for you
Goal setting will always be collaborative. We will work together to identify your goals and the steps needed to attain those goals.
My first session with you
You should expect the first session to be focused on getting to know you and your story. This provides us the opportunity to learn a little about each other and decide if we make a good fit. I want you to feel comfortable enough to discuss what is or is not working for you.
