Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Alyssa!

Hello there! I'm Alyssa Balli, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based out of Southern California and providing telehealth therapy services statewide. I'm passionate about working with individuals, adolescents and young adults, and couples seeking to deepen their bonds, relationships, and connections with others as well as themselves. I appreciate the opportunity to walk alongside others in their journey toward growth!

My approach

I appreciate working from an eclectic model and meeting each client and their needs with what they bring to the therapeutic space. Drawing from multiple therapies and therapy models such as dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and humanistic and mindfulness-based models all with a trauma-informed lens.

My focus

I have a deep passion for working with trauma survivors and people looking to increase connection in relationships. With numerous years of experience in these areas which can manifest as anxiety, depression Or mood concerns, trauma, or codependency, I am confident together we can create a plan for you to build your ideal life. This comes from an approach to a person's wellness as a whole. Together, we can explore your psychological, physical, spiritual, sexual, and emotional well-being.

My communication style

My communication style is warm, empathetic, and respectful all from a supportive and nonjudgmental frame. I believe it is important we give ourselves grace and space to grow to support our wellness. If you're interested in allowing your hopes, not your hurts shape your future, feel free to reach out! Se habla español tambien!

My journey to therapy

As long as I can recall, I have aspired to help or support. Empathy runs deep for me and I believe each of us has our own unique stories to share. One of my first jobs in high school was working at a rehabilitation center. I was so inspired by seeing so many people from all walks of life share prices of their stories and the bravery and vulnerability it took to do so. It is this willingness and vulnerability people are willing to share in the therapy space that allows me to feel honored enough to bear witness to these stories and gently remind clients they have a choice in how they wrote their stories.

My goals for you

When it comes to setting goals with the client, I believe a collaborative approach is most supportive and work to meet the client where they are. We discuss what your needs are at the time and break down objectives into obtainable parts.

My first session with you

During an initial session, you can expect to build rapport with me as your therapist and we will discuss what brings you to seeking therapy, address any questions or concerns you may have as well, and highlight your goals and aspirations for the therapeutic process all in a warm and supportive space.
