Hi there, I'm Portia!

I have worked in the mental health field since 2005. I am a psychodynamic-relational trained therapist. I work with adults, families, and children through social justice and trauma-informed lens. I provide treatment for clients in early recovery from substance use/PTSD, clients making life transitions, and clients who would like to address early childhood trauma. I teach CBT to help clients decrease symptoms of depression and improve their self-esteem. I utilize Mindfulness techniques to help clients learn and practice self-compassion and self-acceptance. I work with clients with court-ordered treatment.
