Hi there, I'm Evalyn!

My name is Evalyn (eee-va-lin) Beauchamp. I was born and raised in Southern California. I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at CSU Long Beach and a Masters in Social Work at the University of Southern California with concentration in Mental Health. After graduating, I worked with clients who were court ordered to complete a DUI program which peeked my interested in substance misuse. Subsequently, I pursued an education in substance abuse counseling. After the completion of my studies, I received an LAADC (license in drug and alcohol counseling). I enjoy working with patients who suffer from mental illnes. It is my hope that our work together will provide an additional lense to see life through to make navigation of life's difficulties possible and probable. The modalities that I use in practice are strength-based and motivational. I look forward to working with you!
