Hi there, I'm Tessa!

When past events keep you from living your life fully, it's time to take steps toward healing. If you're feeling tired of just surviving, I can help you build skills to move forward in your life effectively. Often, my clients will not know where to start but acknowledge that they feel "stuck." Coming in for your first session is a big step forward and a great start to healing. I have trained in EMDR through EMDRIA-approved programs, and I'm currently working toward certification. I use EMDR to address trauma, anxiety, and depression. My advanced training in EMDR also addresses the spectrum of maternal mental health from trying to conceive, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and birth trauma. I want to acknowledge that seeking a new therapist is an often daunting task. Finding a therapist who is a good fit for you is an essential aspect of effective therapy. I value establishing safety in all of my client relationships from the start. To access vulnerable emotions and life events, feeling safe is imperative.
