Hi there, I'm Hinza!

Born from immigrant parents who were separated from their families, I learned the value of family early on. The commitment in maintaining strong and secure attachments is continuous, and I strive to help individuals strengthen their connections with others while highlighting the importance of self-compassion and care. The cornerstone of my practice has been forged out of my extensive work with youth. After working with diverse ethnic populations in various settings ranging in age and need, I have sought to serve and support clients by helping cultivate a culture that embraces their cultural background and upbringing while incorporating areas of change they desire. To do so, I strive to make therapy enjoyable while working alongside client’s in addressing circumstances that may challenge and conflict with their deeply rooted values and beliefs. Therapy can be daunting and at times completely overwhelming. I am committed in creating a safe and positive therapeutic experience for individuals while helping them navigate the complexities that may come with life decisions. While the work can be uncomfortable, therapy can also be exciting and motivational. In short… “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun” – Mary Poppins.
