Hi there, I'm Merisa!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist with experience working with teens, adults and families. These struggles have ranged from addiction, depression, personality disorders, anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. ​ Therapy will consist of exploring how these conflicts impact your life to gain an understanding of self. We will identify your thinking patterns, emotions, and behaviors and new coping skills will be learned. I will help to deconstruct and challenge these thoughts that you have about the world, assist you with regulating your feeling states, and engage in healthy behaviors. ​ My role is to be a new person in your life that can view your problems from an unbiased and objective perspective, where you can express yourself in a safe setting.
