Maria Ballesteros, LPCC I am passionate about helping people overcome obstacles that are affecting their ability to live a fulfilling, purposeful, and happy life. I believe in creating an environment where clients can grow and explore their issues. I work with adults that are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, and life transitions.
My approach
I will provide a safe and secure environment where clients can share, explore, grow, and heal from your present struggles and past pains. My theoretical approaches include CBT, Solution Focused, positive psychology, multicultural, eclectic, behavioral therapy, person-centered, mindfulness-based, and Gestalt.
My focus
I am most comfortable treating adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, narcissistic abuse, workplace issues, or adjustment to disability.
My communication style
Clients have commented that I am kind, compassionate, warm, and insightful. I care deeply for people who are struggling with emotional pain and life challenges. My work and life experiences have prepared me well to help individuals change their lives by providing support, guidance, and collaborating together to move you forward.
My journey to therapy
I care deeply for people who are struggling with emotional pain and life issues. It is from my own life experiences, education, and assisting others with life challenges that I feel a calling to help people heal from their emotional wounds.
My goals for you
I have clients clarify their goals based on their priorities. We would work together to develop a timeline to achieve these goals. We would discuss any resistance to following thru with their goals and work thru these blocks.
My first session with you
Clients can expect an accepting, non-judgmental environment where they can share in safety the issues that are affecting their life.
