Hi there, I'm Kristal!

Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I have over 8 years of experience providing therapeutic services to a wide variety of clients including children, individuals, couples, and families from different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Sometimes life happens faster than we can adapt to it, and often it can be helpful to have someone navigate life during these times. Each of us is weathering a unique season in our lives and I aim to provide assistance for today’s battles as well as confidence in one’s abilities to effectively deal with situations as they arise. With a supportive and non-judgmental approach, I hope to create a safe space for individuals to express themselves and make room for realizations that will lead to positive life changes. I enjoy working with individuals in navigating the multiplicity of challenges that arise in life. I work from a collaborative, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting individuals to be the author of their own lives. I believe therapy is a safe place to grow, learn and achieve shared goals using an eclectic mix of modalities to meet each client's unique needs. I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based techniques based on client preferences and goals.
