Hi there, I'm Rochelle!

I am Rochelle Allen, LCSW, whose passion is working with and helping those who have experienced trauma in their lives.

My approach

I have been trained in brainspotting and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Relocation) for those who have experienced trauma or other disturbing life events. I was previously state licensed in Washington State as a drug and alcohol counselor and have worked with incarcerated persons in jail, using motivational interviewing.

My focus

My experiences include working with those with complex trauma, drug and alcohol concerns, formerly incarcerated, at-risk youth, and LGBTQ.

My communication style

I work on providing an environment and strength-based approach, creating empathy, warmth, and a collaborative nonjudgemental space where clients can process and work on healing.
