Hi there, I'm Genoveva!

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am an empathic and compassionate bilingual (Spanish-English) Licensed clinical social worker, LCSW. I am a genuine, caring, and culturally sensitive clinician. I have over 25 years in the Mental health field and 20 of those years in addiction medicine. I work with adults, couples, adolescents families, and blended families. I have extensive experience in the following areas: shame, guilt, addiction, depression, anxiety, relationships, work-life balance, stress, Couples issues, blended families, acculturation, assimilation issues, loss and grief, gender identity, gay lesbian accepting self, trauma, loneliness, attachment communication issues PTST sexual, emotional and physical abuse. In addition helps LGBTQ accepting themselves, helping build self-esteem and self worth. I utilize the various therapeutic modalities, to best support you in your goals as well as try to be in line with evidenced-based treatment that will help you heal and become your fully actualized self. As you know coping with life on life's terms can be challenging. If you are struggling with past or current trauma, or If you struggle with strong emotions, managing emotions, regulating emotions, isolation, depression, anxiety, end-of-life issues, grief and loss, relationships communication and or managing stress, or if you feel you are living your life unbalanced. If you are looking to find joy and repair your self-esteem, you are not alone. I hope you are reassured that you have done all you can thus far and are now more willing and ready to take on the next step. The fear of change can be scary at first however in a safe environment and with support, you will begin to trust yourself in the healing process. If you are a first generation in the united states know there are some grief and loss and identify issues that merit attention too. I understand the complexity and importance of this unique process and how this impacts the family system. Now let’s get you on the PATH to healing from any unresolved issues.
