Hi there, I'm Elizabeth!
My approach as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive, and accepting therapeutic relationship. I believe in people's innate desire to move towards the life that is best for them. However, sometimes life places roadblocks in our way that can make it challenging to reach our goals. When working with me, you will find that I am someone who will support you in moving towards your goals and learning new skills to manage life's challenges.
My approach
I work from a Person-Centered perspective while pulling techniques from various therapeutic approaches, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Trauma Informed approaches.
My focus
I work best with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, mood instability, psychosis, and trauma.
My communication style
I am a transparent person. Therefore, my communication style is honest and open while being respectful of my client's life experiences and background.
