Hello! My name is Alina Mikolaitis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing in the field of mental health and psychology since 2000. My approach in therapy is to focus on building organic relationships, process and resolve identified issues, and ultimately support you in reaching your goals to live a more positive and fulfilling life.

My therapeutic approach includes active listening, motivational interviewing, supportive counseling, strength-based interventions, mindfulness, positive thinking, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
My focus
I mainly work with adult individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, postpartum, addiction, an array of mental health issues, familial and relationship issues.

My tone consists of compassion, empathy, and understanding, nonjudgmental, safe and secure, honest and positive, encouraging and motivating, relaxed and peaceful.
My journey to mental healthcare
My experience as a first-generation from immigrant parents has instilled a strong work ethic in me to help others who may be struggling through hardships in life and feeling stuck. I am culturally sensitive, passionate, and motivated to help solve problems and make a positive impact on the well-being of my clients.
