Hi, my name is Eladia Beltran. I am a marriage family therapist license number 90538. I am a therapist that utilizes systems and attachment therapy. I believe that all behaviors meet a need mental, social, and physical needs.
My approach
My most common approaches to therapy are CBT, attachment, and systems theory. I believe that all of our behaviors are based on needs. I also believe that therapy is a way for people to understand themselves and find a healthy way to attend to their needs.
My focus
I work with people when ready to explore and make changes needed to meet their own needs more and healthier way. When depressed or anxious we will work on learning about our mental health, possible triggers, and how to beat and manage our triggers.
My communication style
I am a great therapist in understanding and connecting with clients. I understand how our lives and mental health are caused by unmet needs, past trauma, and our biology. I am good at meeting clients where they are and supporting them to develop plans for where they want to be.
My journey to therapy
I became a therapist because I love working with people and I am great at connecting and supporting others. I am very lucky to be able to do something I love for a living.
My goals for you
I usually approach goal setting by asking clients what they think they need, help them explore possible goals and how we can work together to meet goals.
My first session with you
During the first session, clients can expect to be heard regarding their concerns and to also work with me by providing information required for opening a case.
