Hi there, I'm Taylor!

My Philosophical approach to Psychotherapy includes a psychodynamic interpretation of mental and emotional processes rooted in psychoanalysis which aims to address the foundation and formulation of the psychological processes with the goal of reducing symptoms and improving people’s lives. My role as a therapist is to help people gain insight into their lives and current problems by evaluating and reviewing cognitive and behavioral patterns that include emotions, thoughts, early life experiences, and beliefs. Recognizing these patterns help people see how they avoid distress or develop defense mechanisms to cope. I believe these insights and developing alternative coping mechanisms can allow for lasting change.
