Hello, I'm Celia! My name is Celia Barry and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based out of Waddell, Arizona, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents and adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, and stress to help my clients continue in their journey to feeling better.
My approach
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently combine cognitive behavioral, client-centered, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic therapy. These modalities help me and the client build an understanding of their reality and allow us to collaboratively work together.
My focus
I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for young adults and adults who may be dealing with the challenges and stressors of life. This often takes the form of stress, anxiety, and depression. I work to help my clients navigate and manage stressors and to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life.
My communication style
My communication style is calm, respectful, and personable. I strive to make the experience positive, respectful, and safe. I pride myself on providing a nurturing space and listening without judgment.
