Hi there, I'm Tyler!

Each client’s individual life experiences are different, and can lead to various needs. I operate from an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing a Rogerian client centered process which works to identify and build upon each patient’s unique strengths. Being attentive to each patient’s experiences and needs, I work to implement the most effective strategies and approach to support the client in identifying and achieving their desired treatment goals, and I’ve found this process allows each therapeutic experience to be tailored to meet the specific needs of my client’s. I work from a strength based orientation, supporting patients to identify skills they already possess, while working in concert to gain new skills which can assist the client in overcoming life challenges and improve the quality of their life in tangible ways. I work with clients who have diagnoses across the board ranging from substance use, autism, to anxiety and depression. I have worked with patients in community settings ranging from Non-Profit organizations in the greater Sacramento area, to county based organizations in Santa Barbara, & San Luis Obispo. On my days off I enjoy spending time with my wife, two children and our animals. In addition, I enjoy practicing Jui Jitsu, going on hikes and attending sporting events with my family and friends. I look forward to meeting with you to learn how we can work together to accomplish your goals.
