Hi there, I'm Shirley!

As a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience working alongside children, youth, adults, and families in community mental health, I am excited to be a part of your mental health journey. I'm here to guide you and provide you with the tools to be curious and use your strength to rebuild your life's narrative. I am trained in trauma-informed care and crisis management. My areas of expertise include anxiety, coping skills, depression, self-esteem, stress, trauma, and parenting. I incorporate evidence-based practices in my treatment to effectively help you meet your goals in therapy. More importantly, I value our partnership and ensure your voice is heard in our sessions. I am a proud daughter of immigrants and have spent more than two decades living in NYC before moving out to Sacramento, CA. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master of Social Work degrees from New York University. My experiences with mental health, both personal and professional, reinforce my passion to promote mental health and well-being.
