Hi there, I'm Charis!

Are you seeking therapy for a life change, a listening ear, and some clarity in relationships? I have had over 20 years of experience working with adults and youth, addressing stressors such as depression, anxiety, loss, substance use, and trauma. With this experience, I have found that using an eclectic and individualized approach, pulling from various modalities to help clients move toward positive change, has had the best results.  Depending on your specific symptoms and goals for therapy, we will explore together to see what approach is right for you. Our sessions will be your time to allow yourself to be vulnerable, with a non-judgmental, neutral ear to help enable your unique process toward self-discovery. As the therapeutic relationship develops, you may feel challenged to grow and realize patterns and maladaptive behaviors during our sessions to elicit insight, self-awareness, and empowerment. Ultimately, isn’t it about living a happier, healthier, more content life? My goal is to help you in the process of improving your coping skills, reducing those overwhelming thoughts or feelings causing you discontent, and helping you make your stressors more manageable.
