Hi there, I'm Julie!

My name is Julie Fuentes, and I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from California State University Los Angeles with my Bachelor’s in Psychology and attended National University for my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years in various settings and with age groups 0-80; in inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, foster care, psychiatric hospitalization, correctional and residential youth.  I have experience working with children, adults, and their families, with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. I also have extensive clinical experience working with culturally diverse individuals from various ethnic backgrounds. I am certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy. As a therapist, I will accompany you on your healing journey and empower you to reach your mental health goals. We are complex, beautiful creatures molded from cultural expectations, social norms, relationships, and childhood experiences. Therefore I use a multi-therapeutic approach -Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, Family Systems, and Solution focus.
