Hi there, I'm Maryam!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker, and throughout my clinical career, I have had the privilege to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in different settings.  I provide a skilled, empathic, supportive, yet challenging therapeutic environment in which I will assist in guiding you to deeper insight and navigating the change that is necessary to help you reach your goals. I specialize in assisting individuals who are currently struggling with depression, grief, and loss, anxiety, trauma and abuse, negative thinking patterns, life transitions, and stress management or need some form of support and guidance. My wide range of training and expertise allows me to treat people using individualized care that incorporates evidence-based therapies effectively.  My approach to psychotherapy primarily focuses on the strength-based perspective while utilizing solution-focused approaches and incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive processing therapy. I enjoy humor and creativity while working with clients and strongly believe in the importance of a therapist and client collaboration to problem solve and maximize healing.
