Hi there, I'm Pamela!

I am an experienced therapist with many years of work in the public mental health field assisting persons with major mental illnesses and crisis situations. I have been deeply involved in suicide prevention and then work with children and families, including as a therapist providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. I have done extensive work with victims of trauma as well as people going through short-term crisis issues in their lives, helping both to recover and heal to be their best selves. I believe in relationship building and enhancing communication skills so will not hesitate to include family members or other support if a client and I feel that would be helpful. Most importantly, I listen to my clients and am an honest, real, and down-to-earth person who may have some experience and perspective to share.
