Hello, my name is Ashton Hart. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, and friendly. My hope is to help my clients understand they are not alone and there is always hope to move forward. If you have a desire to make a positive change in your life, therapy may be the right path for you.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is a client-centered approach that allows my clients to be the author of their own stories. My job is to assist you in navigating through whatever challenges you face in a way that fits you best.
My focus
My typical clients tend to be women facing an array of issues such as trauma, family issues, relationship issues, communication style conflicts, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I have experience in many other areas such as teens, family, first responder/medical professionals, lgbtqia+.
My communication style
I like my clients to feel safe and comfortable working with me. I am open-minded and embrace the human experience, as every experience is unique.
My journey to mental healthcare
As a human, I can relate to feeling lost, alone, down, and not knowing where to turn. I have always been the type of person to give back. It is important to me to be a part of positive growth in our world.
My goals for you
My clients have the freedom to set their own goals for the short and long term. Goal planning is important and should feel like a positive teamwork experience.
My first session with you
The first session is the assessment session where I gather information about my client and provide feedback about goal setting and future session outlook. My clients are urged to ask questions or voice concerns in this session and any session going forward.
