My name is Brianne Ballard and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in La Verne, California while working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults that are in all phases of life to help cope with transitions, anxiety, depression, parenting, women's issues, past trauma, and relational issues to name a few. I help guide you in finding what you need out of therapy to be in a more mindful, authentic, and peaceful state.
My approach
Humans are all unique and so I approach therapy with that in mind. I will use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, attachment therapy, Gottman method, trauma-focused therapy, and narrative therapy.
My focus
I have worked with clients of all ages, socioeconomic status, individuals who have experienced trauma, the LGBTQ+ community, and various cultures. I am most comfortable treating individuals who are struggling to cope in life with their anxiety, depression, and/or past trauma. I also have experience working with women who are struggling with fertility issues, pregnancy, postpartum needs, parenting, and relational issues.
My communication style
I aim to help my clients grow into their authentic selves and hold myself to the same standard so my communication style is open, direct, encouraging you to sit in the uncomfortable to allow room for growth, while also holding space for you. I believe in laughter in therapy and in life.
