Hi there, I'm Jeremy!

I have spent the bulk of my career working in the forensic setting. This has included years of being a therapist in the Department of state hospitals and county jail systems. Through these experiences, I have worked with a wide spectrum of clients ranging from personality disorders to severe mental illness (schizophrenia, schizoaffective, Bipolar I/II, etc.). There have been many cases I’ve encountered with co-occurring disorders in which substance abuse played a major role in the patient’s current presentation. I also have experience working with adolescents who were on probation in the Los Angeles area while I was in grad school. With these populations, I have also found trauma to be a very common trait with most patients I have worked with. I believe in a trauma-informed approach to therapy. My approach is to support you in speaking your truth and developing the courage to tell your story. We all have our own stories inside of us that contribute to who we are today. I also believe that the patient plays a critical role in developing the treatment plan including the pace of progression through each session. I will assist you with developing the important skills to foster your growth and manage any stressors you may be experiencing in a safe way. These sessions are your safe space to share as you feel comfortable and I am very excited to take that journey with you.
