Hi there, I'm Quinn!

A former professor of mine once described the profession of social work as the “alleviation of suffering.” I acknowledge that when you take a step toward seeking help you are most likely experiencing some form of pain or distress. I also acknowledge that other variables come into view when examining mental health, such as environmental factors, marginalization, and stigma. I aim to approach your care with an empathic consideration of these factors. Thus, I am tasked with assisting and collaborating with you towards a greater sense of ease and comfort. Through the examination and exploration of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, I can help guide you toward increased insight, mastery of positive coping skills, and wellness. By utilizing a strengths-based and solution-focused framework, I believe that we can create viable goals for your particular needs and wants. During my fifteen years as a mental health clinician, I have seen first-hand the wonderful benefits of the alliance that can be forged between my clients and myself. I also teach practice courses at a local university, so I am regularly keeping abreast with new developments in the field. It would be a pleasure to meet with you and discover how we can partner to alleviate suffering and enhance well-being
