Hi there, I'm Shani!

If you’re reading this, you’re likely taking one of the first steps toward self-betterment. It can be an emotional and overwhelming process to reach out for help, and I aim to make the process as painless as possible. I have been practicing as a Master’s-level clinician since 2017, with most of my experience in dual diagnosis (addiction + mental health) and medical settings. I am experienced in working with adolescents and adults. I hold the following license and certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker (CCTSW), and Accredited Case Manager – Social Worker (ACM-SW). I am particularly passionate about working with addiction, mood, and personality disorders, as well as working with organ transplantation candidates and recipients. I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach, with a strong focus on motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and the strengths perspective. I believe in maintaining open and honest communication with my clients and involving them in the treatment planning process. Together, we will customize a treatment plan to meet your unique goals and needs. I feel privileged to work with my clients, and I enjoy being a part of their growth!
