Karen Hill-Davis

My name is Karen Hill-Davis. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families cope with a variety of challenges that life has presented them with. Through the therapeutic relationship, l will help you recognize your strengths so you can become empowered to effect positive change in your life.

My approach is cognitive behavioral and solution-focused. My style is open and supportive. I have specific experience with adjustment to life changes related to health issues, aging, life care planning, and bereavement.

Most frequently work with adults. Experiencing difficulties or struggles with changes in healthy relationships and life stages.

My communication style is informal, open, and relaxed. My hope is that the clients are comfortable in sharing the details of what has brought them to seek therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

My desire has always been to help others to help themselves. To assist others in recognizing their strengths and to encourage them to create solutions to problems that have been obstacles in their lives.
