Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Ed!

Hello! I've been practicing clinical counseling since 1995, after serving in the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps. I received my clinical training at Illinois State University - with M.S. in Human Services Counseling and Lincoln Christian Seminary M.A. in Pastoral Counseling. When I'm not counseling, you might find me out riding my motorcycle or bicycle or possibly indoors honing my skills with a good book!

My approach

I take an eclectic approach to therapy using techniques found in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Choice Theory, Existential Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

My focus

I work with males ages 7-adulthood as well as adult females.

My communication style

I've been told I'm a good listener and have been complimented for my directness.
