Hi, my name is Dr. Dave Smith, and I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I entered my profession with a desire to help individuals and families overcome the struggles they face. I specialize in Clinical Mental Health, Addiction & Recovery, Couples and Marriage & Family Therapy.
My approach
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strategic Therapy and Intergenerational Family Therapy
My focus
I work with a wide range of clients and demographic groups. I treat anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, ADHD, personality disorder, autism spectrum, addiction, and sexual dysfunction.
My communication style
I use a client centered approach to working with clients that is based on the belief that each of us have the power to live our dreams, we just need help moving in that direction.
My journey to mental healthcare
There was a time when I needed therapy. I was blessed to work with an amazing therapist who helped me work through my struggles from there my path was clear. I want to spend my life helping others the way I was helped.

The first session with start with an introduction and an opportunity to get to know each other. Then we will jump into what brought you to therapy and how to move forward in a way that best fits your needs.
