I work mainly work with adults and specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression, using EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients make progress and start feeling better.
My approach

My focus
The main population I work with is often adults over eighteen years old, but I can work with adolescents over fifteen. My focus is putting my client's needs and preferences at the center of the therapeutic process. It involves respecting their autonomy, values, and beliefs while fostering a collaborative and supportive relationship.
My communication style
My communication style includes active listening, empathy, and clear and open communication. I strive to listen attentively and non-judgmentally to my clients, genuinely interested in and understanding their concerns.
My journey to mental healthcare
My path as a therapist took root in my undergraduate years when I took an Introduction to Psychology course. I was captivated by the study of human behavior and found it fascinating. Additionally, during my time in the U.S. Army, I developed the ability to be a reliable source of support for others, which naturally led me to pursue a career as a therapist.
My goals for you
My approach to goal setting tends to be collaborative with my clients and offer guidance, ensuring that their goals are appropriate and in line with their therapeutic needs. We'll regularly review and adjust the goals based on progress and changing circumstances while maintaining focus and momentum in therapy.
