Hi there, I'm Brian!

I use a strength-based, person-centered approach in a collaborative manner to assist my clients in seeing HOPE as they face challenges in life. I have worked as a clinical counselor for over 19 years in a variety of professional settings. These include outpatient community mental health, crisis services, corporate/workplace settings, and owning and operating a private Christian counseling practice. I also have experience in educating law enforcement on better assisting individuals in a mental health crisis. I have counseled children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns. My therapeutic approach is to meet clients where they are in life and provide support and counseling to help effectively address personal challenges. I also hold a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in Exercise Science. I aspire to educate people on how the use of exercise in the counseling process can positively impact mental health.
