I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to helping people rediscover their inner strengths to work toward their goals. We all go through emotional struggles or challenging stressors that can be overwhelming. We can navigate these struggles together and develop new strategies to cope and thrive.
My approach
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is my primary treatment modality. I believe we are all doing the best we can, and we can learn to manage emotional struggles through mindful awareness and emotion regulation techniques. I also utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approaches to better manage the complex interaction between our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, we will discover strategies to best suit your recovery journey.
My focus
I work with individuals and specialize in treating addiction, alcohol use, borderline personality, anxiety, bipolar disorder, coping skills, depression, dual diagnosis, drug abuse, emotional disturbance, mood disorders, personality disorders, stress, substance use, suicidal ideation, trauma and PTSD.
My communication style
I listen with empathy and without judgment, striving to create a safe space for open communication. My style balances validation with gentle guidance as we collaborate to develop practical strategies tailored to your needs. Honesty, respect, and compassion are at the heart of our therapeutic relationship.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have a Master of Science in Education, Clinical Counseling. I completed my clinical hours for licensure between January 2015 and January 2017 at Marion Area Counseling Center in Marion, OH. I am honored to help people heal from traumatic events and reclaim their lives, emerging stronger than they ever imagined.
