Hi there, I'm Martecia!

Hello everyone! I am Dr. Martecia Oates or Dr. Tecii. I am a LPC based in Oklahoma but also service clients in CO and FL as well. I work primarily from a client-centered modality. I believe that I am just a helping hand in a client's growth and the real work is completed outside of therapy.

My approach

I believe in letting the client lead their sessions because they know themselves the best. I utilize components from client-centered, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing and solution-focused throughout my sessions.

My focus

Majority of my clients are experiencing anxiety, depression, navigating a life transition, struggling with confidence/self-esteem or trying to overcome some type of traumatic event.

My communication style

I am to create a safe, nonjudgemental space for my clients. I want you to feel comfortable and free to be vulnerable during our sessions.
