Brooke Autrey, LCSW (she/her). I have an eclectic and person-centered approach to therapy to best suit your personal needs! I have dual-diagnosis experience (co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health disorders), treating a wide variety of mental health diagnoses, including mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma and stress related disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders.
My approach
I have an eclectic, person-centered, and trauma informed approach to therapy to best suit your personal needs! If one modality isn't your cup of tea, my hope is that we can explore other modalities that do fit your needs. I derive my approach from CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, and solution focused therapy.
My focus
My experience is primarily in dual-diagnosis (co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health disorders). My experience as a therapist has also led me to working specifically with folks in the LGBTQ+ community, folks who are experiencing faith transitions/faith crises, court ordered clients/others affected by the legal system, and folks with neurodivergent disorders.
My communication style
I believe in the importance of a client led session. You're the master of your own life and experiences, after all! I have an empathetic and straight forward approach to communication.
