Hi there, I'm Carlos!

Hi there! My name is Carlos, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 5 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings, including crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and private practice. I graduated from Baylor University with extensive training in treating childhood trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and grief. I have a broad range of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. Along with being fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), my approach uses a blend of many therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness and relaxation. I believe a therapeutic relationship, like any relationship, relies on mutual trust, honesty, and dedication. Having this foundation makes it is possible to move forward and to reach your goals in a safe/non-judgmental space. I look forward to working with you!
