Maritza Linebaugh is a Licensed Professional Counselor who loves working with children, teens, families, and individuals. Maritza believes everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life's difficulties.
My approach
Maritza is nationally trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem, addiction, and trauma.
My focus
Clients I am comfortable treating are individuals which include children, adolescents, and adults.
My communication style
To create a safe and peaceful setting my communication approach is non-judgmental, welcoming, clear and considerate, empathetic, and client-centered.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was struggling with my own mental health problems related to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder and unaware of these symptoms and treatment options available. In efforts to find relief and recovery, I pursued education to gain a better understanding of myself and how to live and maintain a healthy mind and life. Now this journey of recovery has led me to advocate and support others pursuing their own wellness journey to living a life of wholeness.
