My communication style
To create a safe and peaceful setting my communication approach is non-judgmental, welcoming, clear and considerate, empathetic, and client-centered.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was struggling with my own mental health problems related to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder and unaware of these symptoms and treatment options available. In efforts to find relief and recovery, I pursued education to gain a better understanding of myself and how to live and maintain a healthy mind and life. Now this journey of recovery has led me to advocate and support others pursuing their own wellness journey to living a life of wholeness.
My goals for you
Maritza works from a collaborative, strengths-based approach, assisting and supporting clients to be the author of their own lives.
My first session with you
Getting to know each other more personally, identifying needs and interests for therapy, creating goals, and treatment planning.
