Hi there, I'm Katara!

If you're looking for a relaxed, inviting, non-judgmental, safe space where you can be your true self, this is the place for you! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. I have worked in the mental health field as a residential counselor, community-based counselor, and therapist for several years. My education includes *a 2005 bachelor's in social work from Norfolk State University and a 2013 M.A. in professional counseling. I do individual therapy with adults and children over the age of thirteen. I specialize in mood disorders, CBT, at-risk youth, and anxiety.
