Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with over six years of experience working as a psychotherapist at both a middle school and a community mental health agency. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, LGBTQA+, disabilities, OCD, trauma, etc.
My counseling style is warm, eclectic, and fun! Let us enjoy our therapy sessions, and I see this as an equal relationship. We are *partners* in your treatment. I strongly believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels or stereotypes. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, somatic/mindful, art, narrative, existential therapy… and any other style that may work for you! I have a broad knowledge and diverse experience in several different schools of medicine and treatment, and I know that not everything is everyone’s cup of tea. Part of the process is finding what works best for you!
It takes a lot of courage to ask for help and want to do better for yourself or your loved ones. You are already a survivor—a warrior. If you are ready to take that step, I support and empower you. You are trying to show up for yourself, and that is *amazing*. I hope you already feel some pride in that 🙂 And, you can’t pour from an empty cup. So, let’s work on filling that bad boy back up!
I look forward to working with you!
All the best,
Holly
