My life’s work as a psychotherapist has permitted me to pursue my passion for helping others. My inner drive and motivation to treat those with behavioral health issues stems from my unique work experience with patients from all walks of life—from those with severe mental illness (SMI) to the mildly impaired, to Veterans, to those in the general population.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Davidson College, a master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas in Arlington. As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), my past thirteen years in social work have included intense, hands-on experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings at both the state and federal levels of government, respectively.

As individuals in society emerge from the throes of COVID-19 and wrestle with ever-present psychosocial stressors or deal with unresolved issues of the past, therapy can help. As a psychotherapist, my foremost goal remains to equip clients with practical strategies and tools to facilitate their journey toward wholeness.
